This past Friday, the Foundation received a surprise visit from our friends at the Edyth Bush Charitable Foundation’s Prize Patrol!

According to their website, The Edyth Bush Charitable Foundation is committed to granting funding to qualified, non-profit organizations whose mission is to improve the quality of life for the people of Central Florida. Over their forty-five years as a Foundation, they have donated over $100 million to deserving nonprofits, proving to be an invaluable asset to nonprofits like the Foundation for Foster Children.

We were presented with their Good Works Grant, which was created to highlight the “Good Works” of Central Florida’s nonprofit sector.  After receiving the Outstanding Foundation Award themselves, they celebrated receiving the award by creating this monthly opportunity to surprise local nonprofit’s with their Good Works Grant.

What a great way to share their success and provide support to our community! Thank you, Edyth Bush!
