Creating Memories at Aquatica 2018

SeaWorld Aquatica 2018

The Foundation for Foster Children would like to thank Seaworld for hosting our eighth annual Fostering Fun at Aquatica 2018 extravaganza. 900 foster kids and families had so much fun in the sun and created countless memories that they will remember for a lifetime. Whether sitting out in the lounge chairs by the wave pools, floating in the lazy river, or riding the various slides throughout the park, everyone had an amazing time at Aquatica.

What is Fostering Fun at Aquatica 2018?

Seaworld owns and operates Aquatica, a chain of amusements parks in Florida, Texas, and California. In order to treat our foster children to a day of fun in the sun, Seaworld hosts a yearly Fostering Fun at Aquatica event, meant only for foster families in the Central Florida area. Our partnership with Community Based Care of Central Florida, Panera Bread, and Seaworld helps us give kids a full day of fun.

Read up about the wonderful event from our previous years, or check out the Orlando Sentinel’s report about the event from 2016.

Can I attend?

If you are a foster child or family in relative and non-relative homes, group homes, adoptive homes, transitional homes, or are partnered with a LIFEGUIDES mentor/mentee match, you can attend! This year, we had over 900 attendees, so contact the Foundation about signing up.
