Ready for Prom with a Little Help from FFC!

Foundations Funding for Childhood Experiences

Thanks to the help of the Foundation’s Funding for Childhood Experiences program, Jentera got to attend prom in style!

Jentera perfected her red carpet pose just in time for prom! FFC provided gift cards for her prom attire, purchased her prom ticket, and an FFC volunteer did her hair and makeup. She looks simply beautiful and we know this will be a memory she will cherish!

Fostering Success

Through our Fostering Success program, FFC provides funding for typical childhood experiences such as piano lessons, participation in team sports like soccer, field trips, class photos, and, of course, prom! Due to the unstable nature of growing up in foster care, children may not be able to afford or attend important events like prom. By committing ourselves to “normalcy” programs like the Foundation’s Funding for childhood Experiences, we make sure our kids don’t feel ostracized by their own identity.

You can help foster youth create happy childhood memories by donating today. For as little as $25 per month, you can make it possible for youth like Jentera to participate in the same activities as their peers. You can also donate your time and become a volunteer or a mentor.
