Wells Fargo Delights with Bikes
Wells Fargo bikes for Foster Children
Founded in 1852, Wells Fargo has reliably served the financial needs of Americans for decades. By building strong relationships with its customers and community, they hope to support individuals and businesses alike. Their philanthropic branch has proved an invaluable resource for the Foundation for Foster Children; their grant for Wells Fargo Bikes have put smiles on lots of faces.
This week, Wells Fargo provided a grant for bikes and helmets. The extraordinary team members volunteered to put the bikes together with us for the giveaway event. Thanks to the generosity of our partners, twenty-seven kids received brand-new Bikes for Foster Children!
Winter Park police officers help
The children greatly enjoyed assembling their bikes with volunteers, visiting the cupcake decorating booth, jazzing up their bikes with glitz, and receiving a special visit from Winter Park police officers. The officers showed the older youth how to use and mount their bike locks. The event concluded with a bike parade. Spirits soared high as the kids took two big laps on their new bicycles and the Wells Fargo volunteers cheered them on enthusiastically! What a wonderful day!
Special Thanks to Kristin O’Brien and Mariana Ordaz of Wells Fargo who played a huge part in making this happen!
