Flower Cookies for Foster Care

Orlando, FL (May 10, 2018) – Covelli Family Limited Partnership, part of the largest franchisees of Panera, LLC, is partnering with the Foundation for Foster Children to kick off their annual Flower Cookies for Foster Care campaign. The campaign will take place in over 30 bakery-cafes throughout the Central Florida area.

May 10th – 24th, participating cafés will donate 100 percent of the proceeds from every Tulip cookie purchased to the FFC.  Panera will also collect Community Breadbox donations at Orlando-area café registers to raise additional funds in support of foster children. In the past 10 years, Panera Bread has given over $500,000 to help support kids in foster care!

“There are so many kids in foster care, often feeling like a number in a very standardized system. That’s why, since the very beginning, Panera has been a strong partner in helping provide kids with personalizes support based on what they need,” said Betsey Bell, Executive Director of the FFC.

“They’re not only a consistent financial supporter. In addition to that, Panera has increased our awareness in the community and helped connect our kids in foster care to jobs. Together we support amazing, resilient kids trying to navigate through a world that is often confusing and scary – but they are just kids who long to love and be loved. We couldn’t do it without the strong support from the community leaders like Panera Bread.”

How does Panera work with the Foundation?
