Gleden Oaks Hits the Shelves

This week, we’d like to congratulate one of our foster youth, turned author! After years of working on his own book, Jeremiah has successfully published his own work. Soon, his book, “Gleden Oaks”, will be on shelves here in Orlando.

As you can imagine, having a book published is a big deal for anyone.  For Jeremiah, it is an even greater accomplishment considering he grew up in foster care. But Jeremiah has always shown courage and determination, along with having big dreams for himself.

Jeremiah began writing in grade school but always had trouble breaking through the publication barrier. With the help of the Foundation, Jeremiah found the support and confidence to finish his project. Soon after, Jeremiah and the Foundation found a publication!

Although this is his first project, Jeremiah anticipates many more books for many more readers.  To purchase his book “Gleden Oaks”, please contact the Foundation, or stop by Writer’s Block bookstore on Park Avenue, Winter Park.
