MLK Day of Service
On Monday, January 16th, the Foundation for Foster Children is hosting a day of service in honor of Martin Luther King Jr! In tribute, people all across our nation are volunteering to serve their local communities. Even though many people are off work for the holiday, they’re choosing to make it an MLK Day of Service ON, instead of a day off.
What you can do:
We at Foundation for Foster Children have registered at All for Good as a host location. You may come to our office anytime that day between 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. for a two-hour slot, to help out with various projects in support of our foster kids. We’ll be creating handmade birthday cards and congratulatory cards (for educational achievements) Furthermore, we will also, prepare emergency supplies for foster children entering care.
