Zariah Durham — Advocate

Zariah is an advocate with the Empower Program at the Foundation for Foster Children, where she supports youth in building confidence, independence, and life skills for long-term success. She graduated from Embry‑Riddle Aeronautical University in 2023 with a degree in Aerospace Physiology, along with double minors in Psychology and Human Factors. During her time at Embry-Riddle, she competed as a collegiate lacrosse athlete for four years.
 
Zariah brings a strong background in youth development, coaching, and community engagement. Her professional experience includes working with the YMCA, where she supported youth through structured programs focused on growth, accountability, and skill development. She also serves as a travel lacrosse coach, emphasizing leadership, discipline, teamwork, and goal setting both on and off the field.
 
Zariah is deeply passionate about empowering individuals to develop resilience, confidence, and the practical skills needed to succeed personally and professionally. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time at the beach, working out, and watching sporting events.
