Help us prepare clothing for children and youth in our community.
FFC is looking for a small group of volunteers to help organize clothing donations at our storage unit. During this project, volunteers will sort and prepare donated clothing so it can be quickly distributed to youth through our Safe Spaces and community programs.
By the end of the morning, the clothing will be packaged into ready-to-go outfits that our team can provide to youth who need them.
This opportunity is perfect for volunteers who enjoy organizing, working with their hands, and making an immediate impact.
What Volunteers Will Do
Sort through bins of donated clothing
• Match and assemble clothing into complete outfits
• Place outfits into labeled zip bags so they are ready for distribution
• Help organize clothing so our team can easily access items for Safe Spaces and youth in need
Important Details
This opportunity is designed for a small group of up to 3 volunteers
• Volunteers will be working at our storage unit location
• Comfortable clothing is recommended, as volunteers may be standing while sorting items
• Volunteers may occasionally lift or move donation bins weighing approximately 15–30 lbs
• This is a hands-on organizing project
Why It Matters
Many of the children and youth we serve arrive at Safe Spaces without the clothing they need.
Having outfits sorted and ready allows our team to quickly provide clean clothing when a young person needs it most—helping restore comfort, dignity, and confidence.
Your help ensures we are prepared to support youth the moment they need it.
