2021 Enrichment - Extracurricular, Tickets, School-based Activities, Graduation

Any foster child under the age of 24 in out-of-home care (foster care, relative care, non-relative care, and group homes) or in EFC/PESS residing in or managed from Orange, Osceola, or Seminole County is eligible to receive funds.

Available Funding:

• Extracurricular Activities: Students are eligible for up to $1,000 per calendar year for extracurricular activities. Acceptable extracurricular requests include participation on a sports team, taking dance or music classes, enrollment in a martial arts program, etc.

• Tools/Equipment and School Experiences: Students are eligible for up $500 per calendar year to cover for any tools and/or equipment needed for the extracurricular activity like baseball bats, boxing gloves, swimsuits, cleats, art supplies, musical instruments, etc. The item must correlate to the extracurricular activity. Additionally this funding can be used to fund school experiences such as graduation packages, field trips, prom/homecoming assistance, school pictures, and more.

FFC reserves the right to modify services and policies, at any time. As a policy, we do not reimburse. Processing usually takes 7-10 business days.

    Extracurricular Activities - Athletics: Activities or equipment needed for the extracurricular activity. These activities include Baseball, Basketball, Football, Gymnastics, Karate, Martial Arts, Soccer, Swim, etc.

    Arts and Music: Activities or equipment needed for the extracurricular activity. These activities include Art Lessons, Dance Lessons, Music Lessons, Musical Theater, Vocal Lessons, etc.

    School Experiences: This includes Prom/Homecoming Assistance, School Pictures, School Yearbook, School Uniform, Cap & Gown, Field Trip, etc.

  • Media/Photo Consent Form and Testimonies

    This consent and release form grants permission to Foundation for Foster Children for the use of testimonies, photograph(s) or electronic media images. Images will be stored in a secure location and only authorized staff will have access to them. They will be kept as long as they are relevant and after that time archived. Media/Photo/Testimonies consent forms and release will expire may 1st of 2024, unless:

    *Child turns 18, new consent form will be required

    *Change in placement for children under 18, new consent form will be required with current legal guardian signature.

    *Legal guardian/child/young adult choices to withdraw their consent for any reasons.
