Essentials to independence

Empowering Young Adults to Stand Confidently on Their Own. Essentials to Independence isn’t just about providing financial support—it’s about building skills.

Young adults learn to identify resources in the community, navigate systems, and access services independently, with guidance from advocates.

When needed, we supplement with funding for essentials, but always in the context of helping youth build confidence, problem-solving skills, and long-term stability.

Whether it’s managing living expenses, finding housing, or addressing transportation needs, this initiative ensures youth are prepared to handle challenges on their own while knowing support is available when necessary.

Essentials for Independence is not a replacement for Advocacy, case management, legal services, or emergency assistance.
