NORMALCY INITIATIVE POLICY AND REQUIREMENTS

What We Support

At FFC, we believe every child deserves the chance to feel included, celebrated, and connected. As part of our Normalcy Initiative, we’re committed to supporting meaningful experiences that help youth build memories, confidence, and belonging.

Families can request up to $150 per request, as funding allows. While the examples below provide a sense of what we may support, they are not a complete list. Each request is reviewed individually, and FFC reserves the discretion to approve funding that aligns with our mission and values.

We welcome open conversation and appreciate families partnering with us to ensure that resources are used thoughtfully and in ways that truly benefit our youth.

Important Guidelines

– All payments must be made directly to a vendor or provider (e.g., Amazon, Target, local retail stores, school offices).
– We can provide specific vendor gift cards only (for example, GreatClips or SuperCuts for haircuts).

– Requests must fall under one of the approved categories listed above.

At Foundation for Foster Children (FFC), we are committed to supporting foster children, foster youth, and their families by providing access to our Enrichment Services. These services are available to:

Children and youth are eligible to receive ENRICH services while they have an open dependency case with the Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF).

Children and youth who are no longer under DCF supervision are eligible to receive ENRICH services for up to one (1) year following the date their dependency case closed, regardless of permanency outcome, provided they were previously served by FFC within the past five (5) years.

Permanency outcomes include, but are not limited to:
Reunification with parent(s). Adoption. Permanent guardianship. Placement with a relative or kin caregiver. Planned permanent living arrangement.

For example, if your child was served by FFC in January 2023 and adopted on June 19, 2025, they will remain eligible for FFC services through June 19, 2026.
