Get ready for a great day on the course! Here’s everything you need to know before the Championship for Children Golf Tournament on Monday, November 3rd — including the schedule, location, and event details to help your team have a smooth and enjoyable experience.
Monday November 3rd is going to be a great day for Golf and raising money to support the Foundation for Foster Children and the local foster children we serve.
Location: Country Club of Orlando, 1601 Country Club Drive, Orlando, FL 32804
9:30 A.M. – Breakfast & Registration (North Terrace by the Pro Shop)
• Check In – Get your team registered and ready to play.
• Pick Up your golfer goody bag.
• Purchase Mulligans – $10 each (limit 1 additional per person)
• Buy 50/50 Raffle Tickets – 5 for $100.
• Enjoy a Delicious Breakfast!
◦ Breakfast sandwiches, fruit cups, and muffins
◦ Coffee, iced tea, and bottled water available near the Pro Shop
While you’re here, take a moment to learn more about the Foundation for Foster Children and discover ways to get involved in creating meaningful connections for local youth in foster care.
11:00 A.M. – Shotgun Start (Proceed to Assigned Hole)
• Tee off and enjoy the friendly competition!
During Play – Beverage Stations
• Coolers located at restrooms on the course and near the Pro Shop
• Stocked with assorted beers, High Noons, Gatorade, soda, and bottled water
2:30 – 3:00 P.M. – Final Putting Contest
3:00 – 5:00 P.M. – Lunch & Awards Ceremony (Ballroom)
• Lunch buffet with hamburgers, cheeseburgers, Southern fried chicken, salads, sides, and desserts
• Bar available
• Raffle drawings and special recognitions held throughout the ceremony
• Scramble with “gross” bogey as max score
• Post only your “gross” score on score card for each hole
• 3 Tee Boxes:
◦ Regular (Blue Tees)
◦ Senior (White Tees) *must be 65 or older to play senior tees
◦ Ladies (Gold Tees)
• Must play 3 tee-shots per golfer
• Participate in Putting Contest between 18th green and #1 Hole tee box
• The maximum assigned handicap is 20 for any golfer
• Turn in your completed score card at registration table
No contest hole awards for golf professionals.
• All Par 3s: Hole-In-One & Closest to the Pin
• Hole #16: Longest Drive (Men/Women)
• Hole #4: Hole-In-One for a BMW Car
• Beat The Pro on Hole #13 (Pay at the Hole):
Choose your challenge level and make payment directly at Hole #13.
◦ $300 Per Team: 10 raffle tickets per player; 0 on score card; double tickets if you Beat the Pro.
◦ $200 Per Team: 5 raffle tickets per player; Hole-In-One on score card; double tickets if you Beat the Pro.
◦ $100 Per Team: 1 raffle ticket per player, Birdie on score card, double tickets if you Beat the Pro.
• Longest Drive on Hole #8:
◦ $300 Per Team: All get to hit from Gold Tees; 10 raffle tickets per player and double tickets if you Beat the Pro and get to play from the Best Drive lying 0, taking your 1st shot from there.
◦ $200 Per Team: All hit from Gold Tees; 5 raffle tickets per player and double tickets if you Beat the Pro, playing the Best Drive.
◦ $100 Per Team: 1 raffle ticket per player and the Pros will hit a drive for you with no score advantage.
*Note – 50/50 Raffle Ticket Drawing and Backswing Raffle Ticket Drawing will be held at lunch/awards for prizes
