Kyle Curran, MHA — Grant Writer

Kyle joined the Foundation in June 2022 as a grant writer in the philanthropy department. Kyle graduated from Tulane University with a degree in neuroscience before moving back to Winter Park and earning a Master of Health Administration from UCF. He spent time working at the Orlando VA Hospital in Lake Nona in process improvement, earning a Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma by implementing telehealth in the Neurology Department.

Prior to joining FFC, Kyle had experience writing grants and fundraising for overdose prevention and urban farming causes, as well as successfully obtaining funding from the Florida Legislature. Kyle has published research that was featured on the front page of the Orlando Sentinel and he presented at the American Society of Addiction Medicine annual conference in April of 2022.

Kyle loves watching sports, cheering for the Tampa Bay Lightning, New Orleans Saints, and Tampa Bay Rays. He is a fan of both of his alma maters which was a difficult task from 2018-2022 when the two schools were in the same conference. Kyle’s love for sports and analytical ability led to his first writing job as a writer for the SBNation blog for the Tampa Bay Rays.

Kyle and his fiancé enjoy trips to Universal and frequent the Lake Eola Farmer’s Market on Sundays.
