Kyle Curran, MHA — Grant Writer

Kyle joined the Foundation in June 2022 as a grant writer in the philanthropy department. Kyle graduated from Tulane University with a degree in neuroscience before moving back to Winter Park and earning a Master of Health Administration from UCF.

Kyle has experience writing grants and fundraising for overdose prevention and urban farming causes, as well as successfully obtaining funding from the Florida Legislature. Kyle has published research that was featured on the front page of the Orlando Sentinel and he presented at the American Society of Addiction Medicine annual conference.

Kyle loves watching sports, cheering for the Tampa Bay Lightning, New Orleans Saints, and Tampa Bay Rays. In fact, Kyle began his writing career as a staff writer for the Rays on SBNation.

Kyle and his girlfriend enjoy trips to Universal and frequent the Lake Eola Farmer’s Market on Sundays.
