Robert Newkirk — Executive Director

Robert Newkirk has been working with international NGO’s and non-profits for the past 14 years.  He has completed community projects in over 40 countries, with a focus on bringing holistic support and resources to underserved populations.

Robert has been part of the United Nations Economic and Social Council representing vulnerable populations and has worked with the diplomatic community on health care systems in multiple countries.

Overseeing operations of a $22 million relief organization and expanding their operations to 42 countries, Robert has had the opportunity to help aid organizations extend their reach and influence to assist distressed communities.

In his role as the EVP of Operations, Robert increased the scope of health, vision and mobility programs as well as launching clean water programs in 10 new countries in Africa. He was also able to coordinate care for thousands of refugees to respond to the overwhelming needs as the refugee crisis increased. He now leads as the Executive Director of The Foundation for Foster Children seeking to change lives in Central Florida.

Robert has shared his humanitarian work at TEDx and other conferences where he conveys his passion for resourcing amazing people in difficult situations. Robert received his bachelor degree from Michigan Tech University and he moved to Central Florida in 2005 where he currently lives with his wife and daughter. Robert enjoys fishing and the beauty of Florida nature.
