Carmen Morales — Senior Advocate
Joining the Foundation for Foster Children in 2017 as an Education Advocate, Carmen has started this new decade back serving in her purpose.
Carmen was born in Worcester, Massachusetts, but raised by her forever-family in a small country town west of Orlando, Brooksville Florida. Prior to joining the team, Carmen served the Department of Children and Families (DCF) for nine years working alongside Senior Leadership, Operations, and Front-line Leadership. Her most recent role with DCF was as an Integration Specialist. In this role, she served DCF by integrating behavioral health support services and Child Welfare operations. Carmen has served as a mentor with DCF’s Florida Youth Leadership Academy and actively support community outreach initiatives.
