Channel your inner superhero and volunteer with us! Date: Saturday, April 8, 2017, 
Location: Lake Eola, 512 E. Washington St., Orlando, FL. 32801 (amphitheater and surrounding area)

Volunteer Shifts: 8 a.m.-3 p.m., 8 a.m.-12 p.m., 12 p.m.-3 p.m.

Description of Events

This HeroFest event is a day of enrichment and family fun for all families, including foster families! The purpose is to have a day of togetherness, hence creating more awareness about foster care while having to celebrate everyday heroes, like foster parents, a few older foster youth and foster parents share their stories and experiences.

Entertainment

There will be musicians, speakers on stage, and a DJ in the Amphitheater and Superhero dress-up, activity booths, food, and a lap around the lake, will be a few of the many fun things happening that day.

Volunteer Attire: Volunteer t-shirts will be provided. Casual, light, and comfortable clothing good for warm weather, as we will be outside all day. Closed-toed shoes are required for safety.

Volunteers Needed: 75-100
