Woody serves as the legal advisor to the Orange County School Board and the Superintendent for OCPS advising them on educational related legal matters including public records disclosures, labor relations and employment law matters, student expulsions, land use and zoning matters, compliance with ethics and election laws, general transactional matters and construction and finance issues. He also manages outside firms and an in-house legal team that provides complete legal support to Orange County Public Schools, the tenth largest school district in the country with over 180,000 students and the second largest employer in Orange County, with over 22,000 employees. Woody also performs pro bono through the Orange County Bar Association’s Legal Aid Society representing select children under 5 as their guardian ad litem.
